Session 21- Psalms

This study of the book of Psalms, taught by Pastor Barry Forder, is the 21st session of our ‘Through-the-Bible-in-a-Year’ series recorded during 2014 as part of our Sunday morning family services.

The book of Psalms was Israel’s hymn book, and not only gives us a blueprint of how to worship God, but also reveals a God who is an unshakable Rock, a Fortress, a Deliver, a Shield to all who put their trust in Him, a God who is awesome in power, yet comforts those who are downcast. It is also a book that contrasts the way of blessing and the way of the wicked; we each have a choice as to how we will live, but the book concludes with the admonition that every breath we breath should be for the purpose of praising our wonderful, merciful, gracious God.

May this overview prompt you to undertake your own study of this divinely inspired book.

The PDF slides are from the PowerPoint presentation used during the teaching session.
