Group A arrives in Israel where you will be met in the arrivals hall by our representative who will assist you through customs and take you to your guide and bus. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv, on the Mediterranean coast. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tel Aviv.
Monday 24 March
Group A has a free day where you can enjoy the surrounding beaches of the Mediterranean. Both breakfast and dinner are provided at the hotel in Tel Aviv.
Group B arrives in Israel where you will be met in the arrivals hall by our representative who will assist you through customs and take you to your guide and bus. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv, on the Mediterranean coast. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tel Aviv.
Evening orientation and Bible Study held in the hotel after dinner for everyone.
Tuesday 25 March
Caesarea / Megiddo(Armageddon) / Nazareth / Tiberias
We drive to Caesarea to visit the Crusader Fortress built upon the ancient city of Caesarea, named after Augustus Caesar, who imposed the tax that brought Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem. Here we will visit an ancient Roman Amphitheatre, where the group can experience the acoustics of a structure built in the days of Christ. We then continue to Megiddo, Site of Armageddon. We stop for lunch and then onto to Nazereth, where Jesus spent the silent years of his life. From Nazareth the road winds down to Tiberias and the beautiful Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in the Galilee. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Wednesday 26 March
Boat Ride on Sea of Galilee / Jesus Boat / Mt of Beatitudes / Capernaum
Today we rise early and board our boat for a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We disembark at kibbutz Ginossar, where we will view the ancient boat of 2000 years ago, discovered at the bottom of the Sea of Galilee. The Sea of Galilee area is where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Here were the homes of the disciples James, Simon, John and Andrew. The group will meet together at the Mt of Beatitudes. And then visit Capernaum, and return to our hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Thursday 27 March
Golan Heights / Caesarea Philippi / Tel Dan / Baptism
After breakfast we take the road through the Golan Heights where we will hear the explanations of the strategic and political significance of this area. On the Golan Heights we will visit Caesarea Phillipi at Banias. We visit Tel Dan and the Dan Nature Reserve, the ancient site of Laish, which became Dan following its conquest by the Dan tribe. Dan served as a center of religious worship for the northern tribes. We end the day back at the hotel where we will be having a baptism service in Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tiberias. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Friday 28 March
Beit Shean / Mt Gilboa / Well of Harod / Bet Shean / Jerusalem
After leaving our hotel in Tiberias we proceed through the city of Beit Shean - one of the earliest and most important cities in Israel from the time of the Canaanites. It was here the Philistines impaled King Saul's body to the city wall - we view its magnificent excavations. We continue to the well of Herod where Gideon saw his army reduced to 300 men. Then proceed to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Jerusalem. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Saturday 29 March
Mount of Olives/ City of David/ Mt Zion / Upper Room / Southern Steps
Begin the day at the Mount of Olives for an outstanding breathtaking view of the city across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate. Walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane
Continue to Mount Zion and the Tomb of King David. See the Broad Wall dating from the Israelite period and the Ancient Cardo Maximo. Visit the Southern Steps, the archaeological reconstruction of the Temple Steps where Jesus walked so often. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Jerusalem. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Sunday 30 March
Old City of Jerusalem / Pool of Bethesda / Praetorium / Fortres of Antonia / Temple Mount / Temple Institute / Western Wall/ Western Wall Tunnel
Enter the Old City through St Stephen's Gate; Visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus cured an invalid man; continue to the Praetorium, site of the public trial of Christ, and his condemnation, and view its ancient remains in the Fortress of Antonia, seat of the Roman Procurator; proceed to the Mount Moriah to view the Mosque of Omar. Visit the Temple Institute. Visit the Western Wall and the famous Rabbinical Tunnel, running along the base of the Western Wall (Owing to the enormous demand, and limited access to this fascinating site, our visit may take place at any time of day or night during our stay in Jerusalem). Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Jerusalem. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Monday 31 March
Qumran / En Gedi/ Dead Sea / Massada
An exciting morning descending to the Plains of Jericho and Arava. Then onto the Dead Sea, lowest spot on earth and Qumran. Continue to En Gedi where David hid from King Saul. See the ancient caves of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue south to the mighty fortress Massada, last stronghold and stand of the zealots against Rome, on the edge of the barren Negev Desert. Massada is a symbol of courage and perseverance for the Jewish People, where 960 Jewish defenders organized their last resistance to the Roman conquerors and took their own lives rather than surrender into slavery. Those who wish to do so may swim (float) in the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Return to your Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight. An evening of praise and worship will be followed by a Bible Study.
Tuesday 1 March
Yad VaShem / Israel Museum / Shrine of the Book / Overview of Bethlehem / Valley of Elah / Garden Tomb
Begin the day at Yad Vashem, Israel’s national memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. Visit the famous Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, housing the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive to Kibbutz Ramat Rachel for a view of Bethlehem and Shepherd's Field. Drive to the Valley of Elah where David killed Goliah. End the day with quiet prayer and communion at the Garden Tomb. Wrap up the tour with a farewell dinner.
Wednesday 2 March
Hezekiah’s Tunnel
AM – Optional travel around the temple pinnacle to the City of David and optional walking trip through Hezekiah's Tunnel down to the Pools of Shiloam.
AM – Optional free day in Jerusalem
Group A - PM Depart for Tel Aviv for travel back to London Heathrow airport.
Group B - Free afternoon in Jerusalem
Return to your Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.
