Revelation Chapter 11

This study, taught by pastor Barry Forder at our Sunday morning service on Sunday 17th  April 2016 is the 13th in our verse-by-verse study through the book of Revelation.

Chapter 1 of Revelation gives us our introduction to the book. Chapters 2-3 give us the 7 letters that Jesus Himself writes to the 7 churches in Asia Minor (modern day Turkey).

Chapter 4 & 5 show a glimpse of the throne room of heaven, and we see the Lamb take hold of the title dead to the Earth. Then, in preparation for Jesus taking back the Earth which is rightfully His (He was found able & worthy – Rev 5:5), chapters 6-10 (which cover the first three and a half years of the Tribulation) see God give mankind one last chance to repent before the ‘great and notable day of the LORD’ (Acts 2:20). This ‘beginning of sorrows’ is just that; and all has been building to the crescendo that we reached in chapter 10 where the great angels declares that ‘time is up!’.

However before we now go onto the events of the Great Tribulation, John is taken back to the beginning of the 7 year period, and given additional information regarding events that will occur during the first three and a half years.

In this study we look at the two witnesses God will send to preach from Jerusalem during the first three and a half year period.

May this study encourage you and deepen your love for God and His Word!

To aid your personal study, the Powerpoint slides used in this teaching are available for download here, and a verse-by-verse text commentary of Revelation Chapter 10 is also available in the Pastor’s Blog section of this web site entitled:

Every blessing,

Pastor Barry.
